^N659AA rolls out from the northwest hold pad onto 18L. Built and delivered to American in 1991, she got her winglets retrofitted back in 2007. You can't see it in this shot, but there are small titles under the cockpit below the cheatline- "Pride of American". First time I've captured this particular aircraft with the camera.
^Non-standard tail numbers on MD-80s get my attention. This is N9414W, an MD-83 built originally for leasing company AWAS who leased it out to TWA, now it flies for American and is owned by American post-merger.
^US Airways 737-300 starts its takeoff roll on 18L, N158AW was built and delivered to America West in October 1987. This early morning departure is headed for Phoenix.
^One of American Eagle's breast cancer awareness ERJ-145s is just seconds from touchdown while a North American 767-300 "blue tail" on a military charter taxis on Taxiway G to its gate at Terminal B.
^Finally caught this one in good weather for a change- a Delta MD-90, N914DN was built and delivered to Delta (the MD-90 launch customer) in October 1996.
^American Eagle CRJ-700 just moments from touchdown with the International Terminal D in the background. If you look closely, you'll see the American Eagle breast cancer logojet at the gate at Terminal B. That was the one I had shot on landing.
^And all while this was going on, the DFW TRACON was bringing Southwest's inbound flights from the west to Love Field "over the top" above DFW........
